What is organisation Development (OD)?

The profession of organisation development (OD) addresses the performance of an organisation as a whole, identifying the barriers and synchronicity between the various systems, structures, processes and relationships that contribute to organisational effectiveness. OD Focuses on the behavioural including attitudinal and motivational aspects of organisational life with the key intent of enabling people. Much research and the experience of executives and managers indicate that the critical success factor in determining the outcomes of any organisational strategy or initiative is the engagement and commitment of the people responsible for its implementation. Specifically workforce composition, capability and culture. This is where and OD consultant makes a difference. Those organisations who have real experience of working with organisational OD practitioners experience the achievement of targeted solutions relevant to their business context. ODR's founder and director Delia Mozer, is a dedicated organisation Development practitioner with a focus on transformational change and organisational sustainability. With fifteen years experience in change management, capability alignment, stakeholder engagement and organisational learning, her clients appreciate her distinct ability to systematically synthesize, design and implement innovative solutions to key strategic issues.
Passionate about the relationship between organisational culture and sustainability, Delia seeks to measure the Return on Investment for people and culture initiatives.
