This Level 1 elearning course outlines the process steps to identifying, analysing and resolving any problem – efficiently and cost effectively. Designed for those who would like to improve their problem solving and decision making capabilities, to make them more effective and confident in their decisions and their work.
The basics of problem and decision analysis are outlined together with a step by step methodology and simulated exercise in which to explore the effectiveness of the process. Situational appraisal strategies are likewise outlined within the context of participant’s business interests. Content includes developing and prioritising objectives, evaluating alternatives, assessing risks, cost benefit analysis, determining and selling decisions, achieving “buy in’ and making decisions outside your area of expertise.
Participants will be provided the opportunity to relate the different subjects to situations within their own business.
